On Nick's Gaming View Episode #4, I cover this week's latest news including info on God of War III and events including Aaron Greenburg's past statement. I also talk about the missed opportunities Sony has had with the PlayStation Network. Lastly, I discuss what really grinds my gears. I apologize for the show being posted on a Sunday. I accidentally rendered the unedited version yesterday where I had quite a few mess-ups. There are still a few mess-ups here and there left in the show, but I will be constantly improving my representation and video effects.
As I love all my goons, even the ones not on the show. This is my favorite show to do, we all have different opinions but we all come through with good points of view and the time just flies. Today we got the little homie Sanii along with the Goons, plus Jon Shaw pops in again (man you might as well make it official lol). This show clocks in at almost 4 hours. I been splitting the video into 2 so the quality can be a little better. These shows keep getting better and better in my opinion so check this one out, I'm sure you will all love it. It looks like the PC is starting to push new boundaries this year. On March 16th, Metro 2033 will be released on the Xbox 360 and PC, but the PC version will support some features the console owners will surely envy, such as Nvidia's 3D Vision, hardware accelerated physical effects using Nvidia PhysX and a number of advanced DX11 features. Those lucky (rich) enough who own a DX11 graphics card will experience advanced Depth of Field effects (like in Avatar the movie) as well as Full Tessellation on character models. If only I could afford such hardware,I guess it's time to start playing the lottery again. For more info on the game go here.
Sony has announced that everyone who purchases a PSP Go from now until March 2, 2010 can get either Assassin's Creed Bloodlines or Little Big Planet free from the PSN Store via promotional code. This is a pretty good incentive for anyone who has been looking into buying a PSP and it also make the price of the PSP Go hurt a little less since both games are still $40 in retail and on the PSN Store. This is a pretty cool promotion and it should boost PSP Go sales a little bit.
Supreme Commander 2 is an RTS developed by Gas Powered Games. The game is set for release on March 2nd, 2010 for the PC and March 16, 2010 for the Xbox 360. No word on whether the game will be released on the PlayStation 3. Read more to see the screenshots and videos showcasing 2 of the many vehicles in the game named the "Kraken" and the "Bomb Bouncer".
This weeks PSN store update is pretty good, there are a few games for both PS3 and PSP on sale this week along with a demo for Yakuza 3 and some MAG premium avatars. Don't forget about the Capcom game sale this week and also check out Socom: Fireteam Bravo 3 for the PSP. Make sure you check out The Tester, PSN's new reality show featuring our friend Will Powers (UNCyrus). Read more for the full details of the PSN store update.
Another show down another million to go. The title says it all but there are a lot of good things brewing for gamers this year. I said last year was a really good year for gamers but this year looks to be even more promising. Tons of games, exclusive and multiplatform, and tons of contect, plus Project Natal and Sony Arc (both code names) will be coming out in the Fall of 2010. Please stop all the hate and just play games, there are too many games to play for people to be on the internet fanboying it up and waving the 360 or PS3 flag like they are gang bangin, not cool. I barely have time to do the shows let alone fight about all this lame stuff. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Love, peace and chicken grease!
