Who in here is ready for Madden arcade? Well, it's coming soon so relax a little bit. EA announced today that Madden NFL Arcade is coming December. It will cost $14.99 on the PSN and 1200 Microsoft points.

As we all know, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves landed on store shelves today and PS3 owners around the nation are having the time of their gaming lives. Between the intense story and amazing multiplayer, what is there not to love? The multiplayer is great do not get me wrong, but two major problems I have experienced with it are the fact that it only includes seven maps which is a little low for my tastes and does not give the player any playlist options. This leads to you being forced to play sniper-only matches or the elimination round. I addressed this on the official PlayStation Forums and received a response from one of the Naughty Dog Developers. Read more to see what he had to say.

This week's show is packed, as Konrad, the star of our Gamer Tunes, and Darmok45 (Mike) join us to discuss the news and topics going on in the gaming world this week. The group tells about how they feel about achievements, and Sanii tells us how darker-toned characters get discriminated in games. We do a roundtable and discuss certain things when comparing consoles and games and if sales really matter. Of course, what is a Gen X show without telling the world how much Halo has taken over the world again and Konrad blesses us at the end of the show with this week's Gamer Tunes.

I just signed onto the PlayStation Network planning to hop onto Uncharted 2, when I noticed something very interesting while viewing my friends list. One of the users on my friends list was playing the ModNation Racers Beta. I will not release any information as to who this person is, but I will tell you that he/she is an employee for Sony. Because he/she works for Sony, this version of the Beta could be available only to a select few industry employees, but this could also mean that the ModNation Racers Beta is right around the corner. It was announced awhile back that the beta would start in December of this year, but maybe they will let the public in earlier. Just remember that this is a Sony employee so it could be due to the fact that he/she is testing it early. Uncharted is one of the most spectacular franchises to come to life this console generation. Naughty Dog’s 2007 release of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, exclusively on the PlayStation 3, defined the power of the system and still remains one of the most visually outstanding games this generation.

After two years since the launch of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Naughty Dog is back again with the release of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Surprisingly, Naughty Dog has surpassed what they did with the first Uncharted by a long shot. With a bigger and better single player experience, much improved visuals, and the addition of multiplayer, there is no doubt that any PS3 owner should pick up this game day one. The highly anticipated third person shooter, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been gearing up for its release of October 13th with loads of hype and perfect reviews over the past week. Being an early owner of the game, I recommend ANY PS3 owner to go pick up a copy day one and I truly hope and feel that this game deserves to sell the numbers of a Halo or Gears of War, although there is a great chance that it won't. Even though the game has not "officially" launched yet, it seems like it is off to a great start. Read more to see why.
