Solution To Home 1.3 Freezing

E-mail Print PDF

PlayStation Home

Were you one of the many PS3 owners who were anxious to try out the 1.3 update for Home, which just released, to have it freeze on you every time? Locust_Star, one of the Home Managers, has just informed us all how we can get around this.

"If you're having difficulties logging into Home, please delete and reinstall. If, after trying this, you still cannot log in, please post on the Support forum. We'll be watching that forum all day to identify any log-in issues associated with the 1.3 client update.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding."

There you have it folks. If you want to be one of the first to experience Home 1.3, head to the Home icon on the XMB, press triangle and delete. Once that is done, launch Home and follow the instructions.

PSP Go Available Today, PSP Firmware 6.10 and A Massive PSN Update

E-mail Print PDF

PSP Go

Unless you have been sleeping under a rock, you should know the new PSP Go will hit retailers today. The highlight of the firmare 6.10 and the PSP Go, in my opinion, is cell phone tethering using your cell phone via bluetooth. This is a cool feature, but I am still not sure if it justifies its $249 price tag. Also, to accompany the new system, is PSP Firmware Update 6.10 that was released last night and it offers a few upgrades, but most of all it offers the new SensMe Music Channels. These channels will organize your music by mood. The PSP store will be updated with a new look and Media Go, a program that allows you to transfer and convert media from your PC to your PSP or PSP Go, will be available today.

Review: WET

WET Review

Imagine, if you will, if you could turn a Quentin Tarantino movie into a video game. It would certainly have violence. Tons of it. It would have a different type of lead character. Maybe a woman with guns and a sword?

It wouldn't feel like it was made in current times. I am thinking a '70s feel with a hint of grain on the film and it would more than likely tinker with the timeline so it feels like the story isn't on train tracks.

Well, WET has all these things. Read more, though, to find out why it doesn't come close to the greatness that is Tarantino, but tries really hard to.

Forza Motorsport 3 Demo Impressions & Video

E-mail Print PDF

When Microsoft and game developer Turn 10 Studios announced a Forza Motorsports 3 demo would be available, Xbox gamers rejoiced as the demo would give them a chance to sample of the much anticipated racing simulator. Now that the demo has been out for a while, many gamers and journalists have had different opinions. From the graphics, to the crash animations, to the actual handling, and performance of the included vehicles, the demo gives us a feel for what it will feel like to drive in Forza 3.

But is that a good thing? Read more to find out.

E-mail Print PDF

PlayStation Home

I know there are a lot of people who could care less about PlayStation Home, I really don't go in there either. If you were interested in the big update that was supposed to be released in September, well it is now releasing on October 1st, which is this Thursday. There will be a whole bunch of new content added to Home plus new features such as universal game launching and more. Click Read more to check out the videos if you are interested in all the new stuff coming to Home. Personally I can't wait to see how well the universal game launching works so if you haven't been in Home in a while or gave up on it, try the update and see if it changes your mind. Click the link below for full update details.

Fable II Episode Download

E-mail Print PDF

Fable 2

All Xbox Live members can now download the first Fable II episode, for free. It will apparently let you play through the childhood and early adulthood. The episode will then give you the option of purchasing the rest of the game, including installments.

No freaking word on how much it costs, though because, you know, who cares about that right?
