
As Heavy Rain's release approached, we talked allot about what Quantic Dream was trying to accomplish. It was clearly a shift from what the vast majority of games are doing. No shooter-type of gameplay or anything that resembles "traditional gameplay" would be allowed.
Some of us were excited. Some of us were unsure. The rest laughed at the idea. So I decided to reach out to Sony and see about getting an interview with the development studio about the very focused idea of storytelling.
