I don't think activision should be giving threats, if they lose the ps3 they might lose alot of potential buyers

yea im wit u on dat... i bet ps3 as about 5mil+ cod players... i seriously doubt there gonna want 2 lose them... im a happy one of those ppl that would b pissed if mw2 didn't come out 4 ps3!!!!

i agree with that one guy though about the generic white guy.. it would be neat if like when you create your psn or xbox live account you choose if your white black asian jewish whatever and like the main characters skins change for select games haha xD

Great podcast.
I said it before that Activision is just money hungry. That boss for Activision just should have said that behind close doors with Sony. It was so unprofessional.

the first batch of beta entries should be given to those who've bought in socom! ppl are actually notifying the bbb with their gripes with it. zipper had a good thing goin and their replacement team greatly damaged a great franchise that should have been a sony halo competitor for the time, while giving m.a.g. the fanbase it needs to be all it can be. slant six has continued to disappoint though for love of the franchise/genre it's still making its way to 1mil in u.s. alone (there's still parts of gameplay that compels ppl to play, clans and all). final thought, at this time june 09, would it not be an incentive to get a ps3 w/socom(vers that was advertised still being patch) headset bundle?

About Activistion, i really don't blame them. I saw a statistic recently that estimated Activistion paid Sony $500 million in royalties last year, so they certainly have earned the right to request a price change. A cheaper PS3 would result in more sales for not only the console, but also Activion's games, and ultimately Sony may not need as much money from the developers and slack off on royalty fees and such.

Sorry, I'm a bit late to the party, I was out of town.
Sony has the right to sell their console at the price they want. Just like Activison can sell a Tony Hawk game for $120 and Guitar Hero for $190.
By the way, I loved the BIG shoutout. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
Also Nick, you should be more active on twitter. Don't just post links to the latest post on the site. I already check that daily. Subscribe to more people who share a common interest with you. Reply to tweets and such.
