February 9th is the start of a wave of game releases that should run pretty solid all the way through until April. The key, or most mainstream, game releases set for tomorrow are Bioshock 2, Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, Dante's Inferno. Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno will be released cross platform and Star Ocean will see its first release onto the PS3. The 360 version of Star Ocean was released on February 24, 2009, almost a full year before the PS3 version. Which one of these games interests you more and which one(s) do you plan on picking up?

@yourmom I will play, beat, and probably review Bioshock and Dante. But God invented my Blockbuster game pass for a reason. Same goes for GOW3, GT5 and Heavy Rain. Basically, every game not MLB The Show, Skate 3, Splinter Cell, Halo Reach and maybe ModNation, will be rented this year.

if i had the money, that's what i'd get. i'd have it waiting patiently for my new Slim to arrive. as it is, i gotta save all my green for God of War 3. got it on pre-order @ Best Buy. really want MAG and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 as well. and Borderlands... damnit.

I can take criticism but to say i'm a boring person just pisses me off. You should know I always try to have fun and be a cool person to be around so saying i'm boring is totally retarded. You sound damn near offended that I said I don't like a game that you do. Why cant you just accept that I don't like a game, because seriously what is it to you that I dislike a game. If you give a reason for your dislikes of a few more games, it would be accepted, I give reasons for my dislikes & still get hated on but that's cool (I was given the name "XBOX Ambassador" I'll accept it), this isn't my show. However, when you hold an audience, they appreciate the commentary, I know I do.
And no one get bent out of shape, games is the perfect venue to let your hair down, I have a ball fade & still let my hair down when I listen to a podcast or play games all night. I've been told I sound angry in my comments, its not intentional but I'll try & work on that

And Bioshock 2 scared the hell out of me, I thought it was going to suck, but its good, real good. Graphics are not as good as the first I dont think, but after playing for an hour I like the game. I think its worth about $58, not a full 60, maybe that's due to Mass Effect 2. Trying to run ME2 back on Insanity Mode as a Level 30 Soldier.

Since I got the weekend of in a week and a half I'm gonna get Bioshock 2 and Heavy Rain next Tuesday. I'm big into stories so I can appreciate what Heavy Rain is trying to do, I'm not expecting it to be cod or uncharted or anything other than Heavy Rain. Plus the fact that there is multiple endings and there will be DLC to play as the origami killer after I beat it is a nice twist to the game.
Loved the first Bioshock and its story so I'm hoping that the second one will live up to the first one even though the main creator of the game wasn't involved. I wasn't going to buy either game but I decided to get these 2 and beat ME1 so I can buy ME2, then get Gow3 in March. Nothing else other than Just Cause 2 is on my radar until Splinter Cell in April so that should be plenty to hold me over from month to month. Not sure if I still want to go back and get boyonetta or dark siders yet, maybe if they go on sale. I vowed to not buy too many, if any, single player games this year but I hate rushing through games so for most single player only games I will just wait until they go on sale.
@otherzinc - let me know what you think of the BS2 story, in comparison to the first, before I buy it next Tuesday.

i really dont care what you say. i really dont care you dont like the games i do. your lack of explanation has made me totally dismiss you from this site. We both might not like a certain game, but atleast i try to explain why. Until you start doing so...ill continue to write you off. I dont listen to GenX as i dont own a xbox. Really the only things i read from you are your one sentence comments and your "review/impressions" which are usually "this game sucks, its so stupid"

The story is crazy just like the Bioshock 1, however, the action is great, you'll be on the edge of your seat 30 or 40 minutes in. I'm loving the game now, at first I was like damn I wasted 60! Now, its worth every penny. Also, there's an old black lady in the game, I let her live: I wont tell you what she does after that.
