Today Sony announced that PhyreEngine, a new graphics engine, would be available to developers for PSP titles this spirng. I think it is good that Sony is continuing to support the PSP the way that they are and I have been enjoying a lot more time with my PSP as of late so I can truly appreciate the things that the PSP is capable of. Sony announced today that ModNation Racers for the PSP will be releasing this spring. If you sign up at Modnation.com you can also get a pair of free limited edition ModNation Racers PSP themes. Both the PSP version and PS3 version are shaping up to be good looking games and I can't wait for both games to be released. There is currently no solid date for the PS3 version of ModNation Racers but we will keep you posted as soon as we get more information about it. Sony has announced that everyone who purchases a PSP Go from now until March 2, 2010 can get either Assassin's Creed Bloodlines or Little Big Planet free from the PSN Store via promotional code. This is a pretty good incentive for anyone who has been looking into buying a PSP and it also make the price of the PSP Go hurt a little less since both games are still $40 in retail and on the PSN Store. This is a pretty cool promotion and it should boost PSP Go sales a little bit.

I went onto the PlayStation Store yesterday to see if Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 was up for download and I was surprised to find 2 different downloadable versions of the game. One was for the full game which is priced at $39.99 and the other was for the multiplayer which was priced at $19.99. I immediately became furious because initially I thought that they were selling the online seperate from the game.
