God of War III Review

God of War is one of the most heroic franchises to ever grace a videogame console. Known for its gore-splashing action and outstanding visuals, Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica had a ton of work cut out for them. The releases of God of War I and II set a benchmark for the action-adventure genre and since then, countless games have tried to take Kratos’ throne, but have fallen short. God of War III, the latest and final game of the trilogy, was first revealed at E3 2008 and had gamers across the world craving for raw gameplay. Their cravings were healed when Sony closed out E3 2009 with actual gameplay of God of War III and stole the show with eye-popping graphics and monumental boss encounters. Now here we are in March 2010 and the release of God of War III is here. Read more for the full spoiler-free review.

I decided against including game footage. But I do have some cool images that Sony provided. So read more if you must.

Baseball legend, Yogi Berra, once stated that baseball is “ninety percent mental” and one has to wonder if the experts over at SCEA’s San Diego Studios have managed to capture the full harmonious tradition of America’s National pastime with their latest entry in the MLB: The Show franchise, MLB 10: The Show. Read more for the full review as well as watch Louie's impressions on the game.
