Generation X Episode 36: We Even Beat Nintendo In February

In this episode, the GenX Squad celebrates as the XBOX 360 outsells the Nintendo WII for the month of February without any huge exclusive title coming out, and who says NPD dont matter? Two of our co-host's go missing and leave our other two co-host to show what utter fanboys they are when talking about which console they would choose over the other. Our pal Mike (Cylon451) on PSN and XBOX Live, fills in the gap and brings up a few good topics. Console bashing isnt all we do, when the topic of gaming headsets comes up and proclaim Tritton as the gaming headset king over Turtlebeach. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the game thats been fondling all of our consoles and we give a deep round table discussion about it, from the content, multiplayer, and campaign. And when all hope is lost for our missing co-host's, another special guest, basketball player at that, shows up at the end to cheer us all up, and due to schedule difficulties, GamerTunes is absent this week, but will return next week, so stay tuned.

Generation X Episode 35: Let's Blow Stuff Up

In this episode, things get a little off beat because the GenX crew couldn't help but play Battlefield Bad Company 2 online during the podcast. We manage to give a brief review of the game, though. We again manage to make fun of PS3 gamers and of course our staff buddies concerning the issues that plagued the PSN the week prior.

Shooters become the topic of discussion when talking about whether the gaming market is way too saturated with shooters, from a gamers stand point and an industry point. Konrad G is missing in action but manages to get us to discuss whether we would like to see any genre be resurrected and if any genre should go away. To celebrate the 20^th episode of GamerTunes, Konrad G prepares an hour-long Gamertunes, which is so awesome we had to make it separate from the podcast. Generation X Episode 34: Who's the Killer??

Generation X

In this episode, the show starts before we know it and we immediately turn the XBOX podcast into a PS3 circle jerk party. Of course Heavy rain becomes an issue of discussion but we manage to not spoil anything, or do we? We get this weeks news and topics out. Sanii brings it to our attention that March is full of great video games, and we give our thoughts to what is a definite purchase, and what counts as at least a rent. What would be a GenX show without us poking fun at our site mates and site viewers as always. Then we get a little fanboy with it as we talk about which camp would take it more seriously if exclusives went over to the other console. Konrad G is missing yet still delivers another Gamertunes. Generation X Episode #33: Victory Is Ours

In this episode, we celebrate victory as the Generation X podcast is officially the longest running podcast on TheGamerAccess, and what a way to celebrate then for our very own Louie to go on another gaming rampage, only to slow down and reminisce about his past Wrestlemania epic fail. We touch on the idea of how games are reviewed differently now from there past predecessors and if it is justified at all. Of course, being that it is the XBOX podcast, we bring up a PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain up about 10k times and judge whether its unique gameplay is innovative and rather innovation is even what gamers want. We end the show with a discussion of the recent events at X10 and what games warrant a purchase. A quick jab at MW2 glitchers, our site mates, and fanboys is always a must for the show, plus the ultimate question, if you could make a game exactly what you wanted, what would it be? Generation X Episode #32: After X10: 2010 Year of the 360?

In this episode, we discuss what has been in our consoles, including Bioshock 2, and Dante's Inferno. Sanii quickly disappears right after he shows the world how horrible Australian Internet and MAC computers are. Fable III gets our impressions based on the latest occurences at X10. With the differences in the Dante's Inferno Literature and Dante's Inferno video game, we talk about how important is it for video games stay close to its original piece of art work, and whether gamers should care. Patience becomes a topic of discussion when questioning whether gamers have enough patience for games. Our last topic is concerning the recent events at Microsofts X10, and whether 2010 is shaping out to be the year of the XBOX 360. Konrad blesses us with another GamerTunes. Stay tuned.
